What this fundraising appeal asks, and why
A campaign page and its donation form on one canvas, with the story beside the amounts instead of above them. Each preset amount says what it pays for, such as a week of meals, and 'Another amount' opens a number field. Donors choose once or every month, give their name and email, and can tick a Gift Aid declaration and leave a message. Replace the sample story, quote and amounts with your own campaign. On phones the story sits above the amounts. FormSnapp records the pledge but doesn't process payments, so follow up with a payment link from your provider.

How to get good answers from a fundraising appeal
- 1
Tell the story beside the ask
The canvas puts the campaign story and the amounts side by side. Keep the story short and specific.
- 2
Use a real quote
A sentence from someone the campaign helps is more persuasive than a statistic.
- 3
Tie amounts to outcomes
Each amount says what it pays for. Keep these accurate and up to date.
- 4
Close when the campaign ends
Set a closing date at the end of the appeal, with a message pointing to your general donation page.

Fundraising Appeal: common questions
Still deciding?
Seven steps from an empty account to a published form.
How is this different from a plain donation form?
A donation form is the quick ask for someone who already wants to give. This is a campaign page that has to earn attention, with the story and amounts on one canvas.
Does it process the donation?
No. FormSnapp has no payment field, so it captures the pledge, amount and Gift Aid declaration, and you take the money through your provider.
Can donors give a custom amount?
Yes. 'Another amount' opens a number field, and it hides again if they pick a preset.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The canvas has its own phone layout, with the story above the amounts.
Can I add images?
Yes. Image blocks can be placed anywhere on the canvas.
