What this product review form asks, and why
Written for reviews you plan to publish. Customers give a star rating, sum the product up in a few words and write the review itself; all three are required, because a rating without words persuades nobody. They then say whether they'd recommend it and choose the name to show with their review. That display name means you can publish reviews without exposing anyone's email address. Read each review before it goes on your product page, and say on the ending screen that it will appear once checked. Link the form from order follow-up emails or a QR code in the package.

How to get good answers from a product review form

Ask after they have used it
Send the request a few days after delivery, not on the day it ships. A review written on arrival describes the packaging, not the product.

Publish the critical ones too
A page of only five-star reviews is not believed. Shoppers trust a mix, and a thoughtful three-star review often sells more than it costs.

Ask for permission to display
Make it clear in your request that reviews may appear on your site, and honour a blank name by showing the review anonymously.

Reply to negative reviews
A calm public reply to a poor review shows future buyers how you treat customers when something goes wrong.

Can reviewers stay anonymous?
Yes. The display name is optional, and FormSnapp does not store an IP address with a response.
When should I ask for a product review?
A few days after delivery, once the customer has used the product. Asking at dispatch gets reviews of the delivery instead.
Can customers add photos?
Add a file upload question and they can attach images, up to 5 MB each on the free plan and 10 MB on paid plans.
Can I make sure reviews come from real customers?
Send the link only in post-purchase emails, and on Pro you can require respondents to verify their email before submitting.
